Game rules of "Draw Poker"

"Draw Poker" is a card game with one playing mode:

Private - only one player per table versus the dealer.

The game is played with a 52-card deck, four suits from deuce to ace. Every game starts with a new 52-card deck. The highest-ranking card of the suit is the ace; the lowest-ranking card is the deuce. In some cases (e.g. the Straight combination) the ace may count as 1 point (e.g. Ace, 2, 3, 4, 5 - 'Straight'). The game is played on one, two or three boxes.

Ante bet

Before the cards are dealt, the player makes an Ante bet 'Ante'. The bet must be within a certain rank. Both the minimum and the maximum Ante bets are specified on the table. To cancel an existing bet on any box, the player should select the chip with the cross symbol ("X") and click on the bet he/she wishes to cancel.

Bonus side bet

The player can make an additional side bet in the 'Bonus' field. To make a bonus side bet, the player has to place his/her chips in the 'Bonus' field, next to the field labeled 'Bet'. In the practice casino, the maximum amount that the player can place in the 'Bonus' field is equal to the maximum bet on the table. In the CLASSIC and VIP hall, the maximum bonus bet is equal to 1/10 of the maximum bet on the table. The bet, on the 'Bonus' field, plays immediately after the cards are dealt. The 'Bonus' bet wins if the player's hand contains 'Three Aces' or a higher combination after the first round (the first three cards of the flop and two of the player's cards). Otherwise, the bonus bet is lost. The payout is determined with the help of the table, which you can see by clicking on the 'PAYTABLE' button.

Cards dealt and game play

The dealer deals one card to the player from right to left, for every box, and then takes one card. There is no dependence on the "Ante" bet amount. The cards are dealt until both, the player and the dealer have 5 cards. The last dealer's card is shown face up. After this, the cards in the first box are shown. The game in the boxes and the box order does not depend on Ante amount. The player sees the cards of every box by turn. If the game is played in two boxes, the cards in the second box are closed. The player decides whether to play or not by looking at the cards in the first box. The player performs the action on the first box, and the turn is passed to the second box. The first box becomes inactive. If the player plays in three boxes, the third box is played blind only. Therefore, the player cannot perform any actions in this box. It is always played automatically.

Box actions, the 'Bet' field

The player sees his cards and decides whether to play or not. The player can surrender by clicking on the 'Fold' button. He can surrender only if he has not performed any action in this box. After he has surrendered, he loses the Ante bet. The player and the dealer can change one or two cards. To change any card the player has to click the card he wants to change and then press on the 'Change' button. The main difference of Draw Poker is that the change of one or two cards is free. The player can continue the game by clicking on the 'Call' button or changing one or two cards (blind change). After, the cards have been changed, they are dropped and the player gets new cards from the deck.

The rules to change the dealer's cards

The dealer changes the cards according to the rules described below. If he has 'two pairs', four cards (without pair) of one suit ('Flush'), four cards (without pair) for double or single-sided 'Straight', he changes only one card which doesn't suit to make up a hand. Single-sided Straight is the combination of 3, 4, A, 6, 7, for example. In this case the dealer changes the Ace, and he needs Five. Double-sided Straight is the combination of 3, 4, 5, 6, Q. The dealer changes the Queen and he needs Seven or Two. If the dealer has Threes or Pairs, or he does not have a hand, then two weakest unpaired cards are changed. But if the dealer has Straight or stronger, he doesn't change.

The dealer qualifies

The dealer plays only if he has a 'Pair of Eights' combination or higher. All the bets are won or lost according to the 'PAYTABLE'. If the dealer qualifies, but the player's cards are stronger, the player is paid 1:1 for Ante and according to the 'PAYTABLE' for the Bet. In case of when the player's poker combination is lower than the dealer's one, both the 'Ante' and 'Bet' are lost.

If the dealer and the player have the same poker combination, the winning hand will be determined by the maximum ranked card in the combination. If the dealer and the player have the same poker combination with identical cards in the combination, the winning hand will be determined by the highest card, but not in the combination (kicker). Straight's can start and end with an Ace.

The dealer does not qualify

If the dealer, after the change, doesn't have a 'Pair of Eights' combination or higher, the player is paid 'Ante' 1:1 and the 'Bet' wager is returned without payout.

Tie

If both, the dealer's and the player's combinations are identical, a 'Tie' is declared, and all the bets are returned to the player without payout.

Game end

When the game is over, to clear all the bets and the cards from the table it is necessary to click on the 'New Game' button. After this, the player may lay out his/her chips in the boxes or click on the 'Rebet' button to play on the same boxes and with the identical bets as in the last game. After the bets have been placed, the player may click on the 'Clear Bet' button to clear all the bets or click on the 'Deal' button to start the game.
