Game rules of "Oasis Poker"
"Oasis poker" is a card game with two playing modes:
1. Private - only one player per table versus the dealer.
2. Public - up to 3 players per table versus the dealer.
In both modes the players can join the table, they can observe the game or become players themselves by clicking on the "Join" button. Provided there is a free spot at the table.
The game is played with a 52-card deck, four suits from deuce to ace. Every game starts with a new 52-card deck. The highest ranking card of the suit is the ace; the lowest-ranking card is the deuce. In some cases (e.g. the Straight combination) the ace may count as 1 point (e.g. Ace, 2, 3, 4, 5 - "Straight"). The game is played on one, two or three boxes.
Before the cards are dealt, the player makes an Ante bet "Ante". The bet must be within a certain rank. Both the minimum and the maximum Ante bets are specified on the table. To cancel an existing bet on any box, the player should select the chip with the cross symbol ("X") and click on the bet he/she wishes to cancel.
Bonus side bet
The player can make an additional side bet in the "Bonus" field. To make a bonus side bet, the player has to place his/her chips in the "Bonus" field, next to the field labeled "Bet". In the practice casino, the maximum amount that the player can place in the "Bonus" field is equal to the maximum bet on the table. In the CLASSIC and VIP hall, the maximum bonus bet is equal to 1/10 of the maximum bet on the table. The bet, on the "Bonus" field, plays immediately after the cards are dealt. The "Bonus" bet wins if the player's hand contains "Three Aces" or a higher combination after the first round (the first three cards of the flop and two of the player's cards). Otherwise, the bonus bet is lost. The payout is determined with the help of the table, which you can see by clicking on the "PAYTABLE" button.
Cards dealt and game play
The dealer deals one card to the player from right to left, for every box with maximum Ante, and then takes one card. The cards are dealt until both the player and the dealer have 5 cards. The last dealer's card is shown face up. After this, the player can see his cards in all the boxes. The player performs an action by turning the cards in every box depending on the Ante amount. The hand with the maximum bet plays first. The last hand is the hand with the lowest bet. If all the bets in the boxes are equal, the cards are dealt and the action performed from right to left of the player.
Box actions, the "Bet" field
The player sees his cards and decides whether to play or not. The player can surrender by clicking on the "Fold" button. He can surrender only if he has not performed any action in this box. After he has surrendered, he loses the Ante bet. The player can change one or two cards. To change the card, the player has to click on the card he wants to change, and then click on the "Change" button. To change one card costs one ante bet. To change two cards costs the player 1.5 of Ante bet. During the changing process, these cards are placed in the deck randomly. After this, the player takes the cards from the deck. There is a chance to get the same cards after the change. The player can continue the game by clicking on the "Call" button. Two Antes bet will be placed in the "Bet" field. In case that the player changes the cards, he can also surrender.
The dealer qualifies
The dealer plays only if he has an "Ace and King" combination or higher. All the bets are won or lost according to the "PAYTABLE". If the dealer qualifies, but the player's cards are stronger, the player is paid 1:1 for Ante and according to the "PAYTABLE" for the Bet. In case of when the player's poker combination is lower than the dealer's one, both the "Ante" and "Bet" are lost. If the dealer and the player have the same poker combination, the winning hand will be determined by the maximum ranked card in the combination. If the dealer and the player have the same poker combination with identical cards in the combination, the winning hand will be determined by the highest card, but not in the combination (kicker). Straight's can start and end with an Ace.
The dealer does not qualify
If the dealer doesn't have an "Ace King" combination or higher, the player is paid "Ante" 1:1 and the "Bet" wager is returned without payout.
If both, the dealer's and the player's combinations are identical, a "Tie" is declared, and all the bets are returned to the player without payout.
When the game is over, to clear all the bets and the cards from the table it is necessary to click on the "New Game" button (the "New Game" button appears only in the private game mode, in the public mode the bets and the cards are cleared automatically). After this, the player may lay out his/her chips in the boxes or click on the "Rebet" button to play on the same boxes and with the identical bets as in the last game. After the bets have been placed, the player may click on the "Clear Bet" button to clear all the bets or click on the "Deal" button to start the game.
You can see the paytable by clicking on the "PAYTABLE" button.
